		<description>Hi Steve,

Good point about keeping things streamlined. This is important to take into consideration especially when economic times get hard. It definitely is key to defining your marketing goals and once this happens then things will be clear and you can really stay focused on what is important.

		<description>Steven:

You bring up an interesting point about not stopping marketing efforts even during tough economic times. You mention beefing up the website and optimizing its performance. The best way to do this is to use some of the analytic tools that are available. This will provide the information necessary to determine what could be optimized.

For me when i am in a buying mood I want to find a website that is really organized and I can find a product to purchase within 3 to 4 clicks. People should really look at how Amazon is organized as a good example how to funnel consumes through to purchase.

I have seen more and more companies starting to use social marketing.
